SENIOR ESTIMATOR
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure that estimates are executed in accordance with the client’s specifications or design brief and the Company’s procedures.
- Maintain currency with industry trends and new design and construction technology.
- Ensure quality, safety and environmental requirements are accommodated in tender submissions.
- Analyzing and selecting the best suppliers and subcontractors available
- Analysis of tender documents.
- Scheduling engineering, procurement and construction activities.
- Analyze and comment on proposed commercial terms of projects.
- Ensure tender deadlines are met.
- Keep constantly informed of actual site costs.
- Develop an understanding of design and system requirements to enhance industry knowledge.
- Ensure tender deadlines are met.
- Ensure the tender process is regularly reviewed to identify opportunities for improvements.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or its equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years estimating experiences in first principle estimating.
- Strong technical knowledge and expertise.
